Today Our Single A Team Travelled to Kent Mariners with the first outing as the Bracknell Phoenix. Our First Game was full of debuts and a cracking pitching performance from Ben C with an ERA of 1.75. the Rookie players didn't disappoint being involved in a lot of the plays. With still a lot to learn but was a great experience getting the match under their belts. with a solid 12-1 win.
The second game we gave opportunities to rookies with a starting pitch Debut to Spencer B, showing calmness at the mound and getting himself 2 Strike outs. In my eyes that's a good Debut. We made changes in the game to give our rookies chances in other positions. Our Batting Continued with the result finishing 21-8.
